Giussani Guitars presents the work of Gioachino Giussani — internationally renowned luthier for over forty-five years — together with his son Jacopo, who brings a fresh contemporary vision to the craft while managing the business side of the workshop.

Gioachino opened his workshop in Milan in 1976, initially devoted to the construction of lutes and plucked instruments. In 1983 he turned exclusively to the classical guitar, a discipline in which he achieved international recognition through an approach that unites tradition and constructive innovation.
His instruments are played by world-class concert artists and have been described by Angelo Giliardino as «capable of projecting towards new constructive solutions», with «substantial innovations in the structure and sound» of the instrument.
With over forty-five years of experience, he builds concert guitars renowned for their crystalline voice, timbral balance across registers and power of projection.

Jacopo grew up surrounded by his father's lutherie, gaining experience with electric guitars, percussion and didgeridoo before joining the workshop. Since 2005 he has been building classical and acoustic guitars, bringing a contemporary approach to the family tradition.
His philosophy is clear: high-level instruments at fair prices, accessible to serious musicians who don't want to pay for a luxury label. Every guitar is born from carefully selected materials, worked by hand with the same care that has always characterised the Giussani workshop.

The Giussani lutherie is rooted in the teaching of Uncle Raspagni, Gioachino's mentor. For forty years the name Gioachino Giussani was synonymous with classical guitar excellence — a constructive style in constant evolution, always searching for new solutions between tradition and experimentation.
When Jacopo joins the workshop in 2005, his path starts from a different point — high-quality study guitars at accessible prices. Over time, his approach draws closer to his father's constructive spirit, echoing its lines from some years earlier with a sensibility of his own.
In 2020 the two distinct identities unite in Giussani Guitars, a single company with a single signature and a modern, recognisable brand. Not the replacement of one path by another, but the meeting of two generations under the same name — Gioachino's constant research and Jacopo's entrepreneurial vision, the same artisan care lived in two different moments.
